Engineer Notes
- This probe is for standard 3300 XL 8mm transducer assemblies. The combined length of the probe cable plus extension cable must match the total calibrated length of the paired Proximitor. Mismatched total length changes scale factor and creates measurement drift or false machinery alarms.
- M10×1 threaded body needs controlled torque on installation. Over-tightening can crack the probe housing and damage the internal sensing coil.
- ClickLoc connectors are precision components. Do not twist, pull or contaminate contact surfaces. Damaged connectors produce intermittent gap readings and unstable vibration signals.
- Route non-armored triaxial cable separately from high-current AC power and relay wiring. Electrical interference disturbs eddy current signals and degrades transducer linearity.
- Observe minimum cable bend radius. Sharp bends deform internal triaxial layers and alter capacitance, voiding factory calibration.
- Non-armored cable must run inside rigid conduit in areas with abrasion, impact or debris exposure. Secure cable supports to reduce vibration fatigue at connector joints.
