• This cable is designed for 3300 XL 8mm proximity probe assemblies. The combined total length of probe plus extension cable must match the calibrated length setting of the Proximitor sensor. Mismatched total length will shift scale factor and create measurement error.
• ClickLoc coaxial connectors are precision components. Do not twist, pull, or contaminate contact surfaces during installation. Damaged connectors lead to intermittent gap readings and false machinery alarms.
• Route armored cable separately from high-current AC power and relay wiring. Electrical interference distorts eddy current signals and degrades linearity.
• Observe the minimum cable bend radius. Sharp bends deform internal coaxial structure and alter capacitance, which changes transducer calibration.
• Stainless steel armor provides abrasion protection but is not a substitute for rigid conduit in heavy mechanical wear zones. Secure cable at support points to reduce vibration fatigue at connector junctions.
• Apply ESD controls while handling. Inspect connector seals before installation. After replacement, perform gap calibration and validate vibration and position readings on the monitoring rack.
