Engineer Notes
- EC401-50 is exclusively used for CENTUM VP FIO node ESB bus connection, incompatible with older CS3000 FCS bus architecture.
- Redundancy configuration: install two EC401-50 modules in one FIO node for ESB bus redundancy; automatic switchover upon one module fault with no interruption to control.
- Supports hot-swap replacement. Module can be pulled and replaced while the DCS system remains online.
- Route ESB bus cable separately from high voltage power wiring to avoid electromagnetic interference and communication dropout.
- Ensure rack ground connection is properly implemented to reduce noise and protect communication chipset.
