Description
Product Overview
The Woodward 8440-2085 is the easYgen-3500XT-P1 all-in-one generator control and protection unit, belonging to the easYgen-3000XT power management platform. This panel-mounted controller integrates engine start/stop, voltage regulation, frequency control, synchronizing, load sharing, generator protection and utility tiebreaker logic for complex multi-generator power systems. It supports peer-to-peer paralleling for up to 32 gensets and multiple bus tie breakers, with redundant Ethernet and CANopen communication. The P1 package comes with standard onboard I/O and LS-5 breaker control interface, suitable for critical standby power, island mode, combined heat and power, and utility paralleling applications in data centers, hospitals, industrial plants and oil & gas facilities. It is commonly stocked as a direct drop-in spare for multi-generator control systems.
