The ABB 216EA61B Analogue Input Processor Unit is a high precision A/D conversion board specially designed for ABB REC216 generator protection and control system. It receives analogue measurement signals from 216GW61 input transformer modules, converts analogue signals into digital data and transmits processed data through B448C parallel bus for protection logic calculation.
This board is the key signal acquisition component between field sensors and protection control core, used for real-time current, voltage sampling for generator and transformer differential, overcurrent and overvoltage protection. It features galvanic isolation and high anti-interference performance, stable operation under harsh electromagnetic environment in power station.
